| “FOUR CORNERS OF FAITH” Our sisters and brothers in the western region of Newton Presbytery are blazing new trails! Four Corners of Faith is a cooperative arrangement between the Beattystown, Pleasant Grove, Rockport, and Schooley's Mountain Presbyterian Churches, part of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Four small churches are maintaining their own identity while working together having called the Rev. Barbara A. Smith as their full-time Designated Pastor, and the Revs. Amy E. S. Lincoln and Robert G. Ruckert as part-time Designated Pastors. The congregations occasionally worship together on Sunday mornings. However, a new contemporary service - Fresh Wind - brings them and other new faces together at 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Sunday of each month at the Beattystown Church on Route 57 in Beattystown (between Hackettstown and Washington). A dedicated core of youth and their friends are meeting regularly to plan and carry out service projects, engage in study and conversation, and - of course - have fun! |
